I’VE BEEN A LEADER SINCE MY YOUNGEST DAYS, WHETHER IT WAS TEAM CAPTAIN ON MY BASKETBALL TEAMS, PROJECT LEADER FOR EVERY UNIVERSITY GROUP ASSIGNMENT, OR LEADING SOME OF THE BIGGEST MARKETING CAMPAIGNS FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA.

Right now you might be thinking, “Damn Tash, cool it with the outright confidence.” But here’s what you’ll learn about me real quick, I won’t dampen my fire to keep others comfortable - and neither should you.
This world is way too quick to tell women to take up space but not too much. To have opinions, but not share them. To work hard, but not harder than the men in your life (ick).
That instinct to develop a plan, doll out responsibilities, and ensure our strategy didn’t just work, it won, has helped me exceed in every position since.
And I’m here to say absolute the fuck not. I want you to identify your strengths and then proudly share them with the world.
I want you to know who you are and take up as much space as you possibly can.
I want you to own your CEO role.
And I want to be the mentor and go-to woman helping you do that.
Before university came to an end, I solidified a “dream job” with the Canadian government. A job that was literally deemed as, “The Ottawa Dream”, not even graduated and I was already employed with a $61K secured career. Dream come true as a young 21 year old, right?
Wrong. Yeah I was grateful for the opportunity, but I ended up spending countless hours on FaceTime with my sister, crying into a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio, fully knowing this wasn’t where I was supposed to be (but not knowing what to do next).
But let’s rewind a bit and go back to where it all started.
Soon, that design business exploded and I realized, “Hold up…there’s more space for me here. I can seriously make an impact beyond designing gorgeous things.”
3 months later, I just went for it. I quit my secure Government job and took my design business full-time...
But then a friend asked me to design a website for her and something inside of me lit back up. I finally had something that didn’t suck the life out of my soul and maybe even felt good??
And THAT’S how I channeled my inner leader and paired it with my knowledge of sales and branding to become a business mentor and an educator unlike any other.

I was nominated CEO Of The Year in 2020 by Faces Magazine (crying, screaming, hollering)
I’ve had the honor and privilege of speaking all over the world (soon I’ll be bringing my expertise and loud laugh to a stage near you – sorry not sorry)
I stopped posting regularly on IG for a whole YEAR and did my own thing instead (my biz grew FOUR-HUNDRED PERCENT #hellosocialexperiment)

Picture this: It’s 2021. The year of 24/7, always-on social media marketing. You’re “supposed” to post daily, keep up with trends, and learn new features .2 seconds after they’re released. People spend hourssss each week writing captions and making graphics (and crying into their keyboards).

It’s that when I say I do shit differently, I mean it
I'm shaking in maaaa lil boots as I wait for my entire business to come crashing down. Because that’s what happens when you break “the rules” right?
Wrong.
My business grew 400% that year. Sales kept flowing in by over 1000%. Awareness of my brand exploded. It was the best year-long experiment of my LIFE, on god.
And now, I’m breaking down all the steps I took and how the hell I pulled it off so that YOU can finally take a damn break from the social hustle (and still make stacks).
So what do I do instead? Stop posting. Tune out the noise. Lean into my intuitive nudges and focus my energy elsewhere — omnipresent marketing.
3 months into my comfy, $61K government job I quit.
And not because I’m a quitter. But because I’m a listener. And this time I had to listen reallllyyy closely to what my gut was telling me — and she was ultra-clear when she said, “You were made for more. Go find it.”
Anywhoooo! Remember that website I designed for a friend? Turns out, people loved it. And my inbox was flooded with requests to help people with their branding. So instead of staying stuck somewhere for the sake of security, I followed the nudge and went all-in on my agency.
And even though my logo was literal trash (no really…it was a CHEETAH LOL – IYKYK moment) and I didn’t have experience with Adobe, I hit $10K my first month. And kept hitting it (and more) each month that followed.
Your girl was HOOKED.
THE DEFINING MOMENT
2019
At this point, my agency had taken the next step and evolved to be more than a design firm. We also offered marketing services AND a passive product called The Instagram Kit.
But the BEST PART of this chapter? I snagged my first speaking gig. At a high-end, interior design event nonetheless (which is a literal dream come true for an aesthetics connoisseur like me).
This is probably a good time to expose myself and tell you that before this event, public speaking was quite literally my biggest fear. So getting on that stage and sharing my knowledge with a room full of STRANGERS will go down as one of my proudest moments.
During the gig, I sold nearly 100 Instagram Kits.
Made more than 200 connections in less than 8 hours.
Secured opportunities for future public speaking events.
Found my calling.

Oh, and this is also when I was awarded the honor of CEO of the Year by Faces Magazine, something I genuinely didn’t think was possible for me.
Like pardon me?? My only “strategy” was selling via Instagram and hustling my booty off. But people took notice, and my biz kept on growing.
Quick side note — this is right around the time I got hit by a bus, full Regina George style, and somehow managed to make it out alive. If you too were hit by a bus (because apparently there are a lot of us??) please contact me so we can start a club.
Alright, back to business.
In November, I realized design just wasn’t fulfilling anymore and I leaned fully into selling passively and building a loyal af community of expressive buyers. This immediately morphed into high-level mentorship and helping women sustainably scale their businesses.

And THEN! I got deactivated on Instagram not just ONCE, but TWICE.
If you remember, my only strategy was selling on IG so losing my platform felt like losing my entire business — all of my clients, my content, and my ability to build a community.
But instead of sulking in my room and drowning myself in wine, I decided to turn my marketing up a notch and return with a vengeance by creating a podcast, YouTube channel, Facebook group, and mentorship program.
I took my power away from Zuck and put it back where it belonged — my own damn hands.

By this point, I’m all-in on mentorship. And it pays off (literally). We hit nearly 7 figures in sales — something 2019 Natasha didn’t even realize was an option?!?!
All from selling passively and mentoring high-achieving women as they built their own 6- and 7-figure empires.
The most mind-blowing part though? I’d pretty much put a halt to all traditional marketing efforts after massively burning myself out and STILL managed to nearly hit 7 figures. This is where The Social Experiment got its start (more on that later).
Since then, I've sold out my high-ticket offers and 1:1 coaching (and oversold time and time again), at times without even promoting or launching. I've done it by narrowing in on my 7-figure self, knowing the right tactics to get my audience wrapped up in whatever I say or sell (hello expressive buyers, I see you), and believing in the art of you—leaning into your weird-ass self all while leading with the mindset that you are a powerful woman who’s meant to change lives and leave a damn good legacy.

Um hello present day, how tf did you get here so fast?!
No, but seriously, the past 3 years feel like a fever dream — one I hope I never wake up from because WHAT A FREAKING BLAST IT’S BEEN.
Today we’ve scaled beyond 7 figures, packed our product suite full of incredible resources, and have hands-down the best business community on the internet (I love you guys so much).
We’re in the middle of a multi-figure rebrand that I’m dyinggggg to show you — including a documentary-style video shoot that’s going to leave you shook (get the popcorn & Pinot ready girlie).
What started as an embarrassing logo I hope you never take the time to dig up morphed into a 7-figure mentorship and public speaking business that feels like the truest representation of who I am and what I was made to do.
